Think before you act
One of the hardest things to teach a child is to think before they act as children are often impulsive and cannot think of consequences easily. Take turns teaching your child in differing scenarios while all the time helping them practice this important life phrase!

فكر قبل ما تعمل
واحدة من أصعب الأشياء لتعليم الطفل هو تعليمه كيف يفكر قبل أن يتصرف لأن الأطفال غالبا ما يكونون مندفعين ولا يستطيعون احتساب النتائج بسهولة. خذ دورات في تعليم طفلك عن طريق سيناريوهات مختلفة مع مساعدتهم على ممارسة هذا التعبير الهام للغاية

Often we need to start a fresh page with our children when things may not have gone right or we are trying new methods of learning and behavioural modifications!. At GlishArabic we believe in happy motivated learning and using this phrase can be really useful such as the start of a new school week or after a tidy room

يوم جديد طريقة جديدة
غالبا ما نحتاج أن نبدأ صفحة جديدة مع أولادنا عندما لا تسير الأمور بشكل جيد أو عندما نريد تجريب طرق جديدة لتعليمهم وتغيير سلوكياتهم! مع جلشعربي نحن نركز على التعلم التحفيزي السعيد ،واستعمال هذه العبارة قد يساعد كثيرا لبداية أسبوع تعلمي جديد أو بعد تنظيف الغرفة
3. Two wrongs don’t make a right
This can be a particularly important one when there are siblings! Often siblings fight and retaliate with the wrong thing making the original problem forgotten about and many new ones thought about! Use this phrase to remind your child that we can never make a right with a wrong!

خطأين ما بعملوا صح
هذا يمكنه أن يكون مهما على وجه الخصوص عندما يكون لطفلك إخوة ! غالبا الإخوة يتشاجرون وينتقمون من بعضهم بطرق خاطئة مما يجعل المشكلة القديمة تنسى وتترتب عنها مشاكل أكثر! إستعمل هذه العبارة لتذكير طفلك أننا لا أستطيع أبدا إصلاح شيء بفعل شيء خاطئ
4. If you have nothing good to say don’t say anything at all
We find this one hard for adults ! Never mind children! But often children also get tangled in saying unnecessary mean or awkward things when they feel angry that they also regret later just like adults. Use this phrase to practice with your child so that they can stop and think before they something unnecessary!

لو ما عندك جميل تقوله كن صامت
نحن نعتبر هذا صعبا بالنسبة للراشدين! فمابالك بالأولاد الصغار! غالبا ما يكون الأطفال عالقين بقول اشياء وقحة وغير لائقة عندما يشعرون بالغضب الأمر الذي يندمون عليه لاحقا تماما مثل الراشدين. استعمل هذه العبارة بانتظام مع ابنك لأجل أن يكون قادرا على التوقف عن قول كلام غير لائق ويفكر أولا قبل التحدث

The lying rope is short !
This is one that is taken literally! Teaching our child that lying never wins with this concept can be a really nice metaphorical way for your child to grasp the negative effects of lying

حبل الكذب صغير
هذه واحدة من العبارات التي تؤخذ حرفيا! تستطيع هذه أن تكون استعارة جيدة ليتعلم من خلالها طفلك مساوئ الكذب وان بالكذب لا نفوز ابدا

Don’t delay todays work to tomorrow
Most children want to clean their rooms tomorrow instead of today! But teaching your child to finish tasks today is a lifeskill useful into adulthood. Find different things that you also need to do in a certain day and explain to your child you will do these tasks required today too so you can both get busy!

لا توجل عمل اليوم الي الغد
معظم الأطفال يريدون تنظيف غرفهم غدا بدل اليوم! لكن تعليم ابنك بأن لا يؤجل عمل اليوم إلى الغد هو مهارة تنفعه حتى في كبره. جد أشياء مختلفة لتفعلها في يوم محدد واجعل طفلك يقوم بعمل واجباته في نفس الوقت حتى تكونا مشغولين معا

Quality over quantity
Sometimes its important to teach our children to maintain quality in their lives not quantity. This is so important in friendships for example where having a few good friends is more worthwhile than many friends that may be distant. Children also need this life phrase in purchasing etiquette so that they learn to be content buying things they need when out shopping and not feel they have to get many many things to be happy

ليست العبرة بالكم ولكن بالكيف
إنه من المهم أحيانا أن نعلم أطفالنا كيف يحافظون على النوعية في اختياراتهم وليس على الكمية. إن هذا مهم خاصة عند اختيار الأصدقاء، إن امتلاك عدد قليل من الأصدقاء الجيدين أفضل بكثير من امتلاك أصدقاء كثيرين لا تجدهم عند الحاجة. الأطفال بحاجة إلى هاته العبارة في الحياة عند الشراء أيضا لأجل أن يكونوا سعيدين بشراء أشياء يحتاجونها عند الذهاب للتسوق ولا يشعروا بالحاجة إلى شراء أغراض كثيرة ليشعروا بالرضا والسعادة.
